2011 PB and NZ Bucks
At GHK we believe in culling. We select the best of our kid crop to offer other breeders and band the rest for the meat market. If you see something you can use or need more info give us a call.
Note: We believe that just because a goat is 100% NZ, that doesn't make him good, nor eliminate the need for culling. We use the best genetics we can from around the country, many of the kids being ET, but more of them still become meat goats than herd sires. The bucks we offer are the best we can show you today, but we are investing and working hard to improve all the time. These are all baby pictures and most of them don't show much except color. Let us know which ones you are interested in and we will send updated pictures. Note: AWW is 90 day adjusted weaning weight and Index is the weaning weight index. We put a lot of weight on these indicators. Although there can be exceptions due to conditions, they are our best indicators of the kids genetic ability to grow and also give an indication of the kid's mother's maternal and milking abilities. All of our weaning weights are without creep or supplemental feed to the kids. These numbers can only be used to compare kids within a herd and have no relevance in farm to farm comparisons.
