Iron
Horse
This 100% NZ
son of TAY Onyx is easily the largest
goat on the farm. If you need frame, muscling, and color, Iron Horse has
the whole package. His first kids arrived in in the
spring of 2008. They were too young for the Maryland buck test but he is
well represented at the Oklahoma Forage Based Buck Test.
New Nov 1st 2008!!
Goat Hill Kikos was the breeder of the 3rd, 4th,
5th, and 6th place kids at the 2008 Oklahoma Forage Based Buck test. Iron Horse
sired 3 of these 4 Kids!!
New Nov 1st 2009!!
Iron Horse sired the Grand Champion buckling at
the 2009 Oklahoma Forage Based Buck test, the Reserve Champion for parasite
resistance at the same test, and Linda was Grand Champion Breeder based on the
average performance of three Iron Horse bucklings. He also sired the high
selling goat at the 2009 Cream of the Crop Sale (a 2009 PB doeling), the 2nd,
3rd and 4th high selling bucks, and the two highest selling mature does were
bred to him.
Wild Bill
Wild Bill is a
New Zealand son of Terminator XX. His mother is a daughter of CCR Moose,
by Generator. Many breeders consider that Terminator sired some of the
most parasite resistant and toughest goats in the breed. Wild Bill seems
to follow that rule as he has never needed deworming since joining the Goat
Hill buck lineup in May of 2009. He was test bred to a few does in the
fall of 2009 and we are looking forward to his first kids in the winter and
spring of 2010.
May 2010 Wild Bill's first
crop is so impressive that we have decided to send nothing but Wild Bill sons to
the buck test this year!
Cherokee
Fiddler Fiddler is one of the best
kids we have ever raised and we thought he deserved a chance in the herd sire
role. He is a son of Sunboy 117 (Loverboy) and his mother is a full sister
to Titan (Lightenin X Puddin). He is going to be very muscular and has a
lot of class and balance. The best does in our herd are Loverboy daughters
but their won't be any more of them. We think Fiddler is going to
put some great daughters in our herd and yours.
